2018 PowerBIUG Awards Recognized at Summit Phoenix

Every year, thousands of conversations take place in the Power BI User Group online communities, at local User Group meetings, in virtual programming and at PowerBIUG conferences and events. We are honored to recognize your PowerBIUG community leaders who go above and beyond to share their knowledge and experiences to serve their Power BI peers. The following annual volunteer awards were recognized at Power Summit Phoenix:

Gemstone Awards

Volunteers play a vital role in building a strong and valuable PowerBIUG community. At Power Summit Phoenix, we were honored to recognize our outstanding community members for their contributions to the user group. PowerBIUG Members are recognized at three award levels: Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald. Congratulations to the recipients of the 2018 PowerBIUG Gemstone Awards!

PowerBIUG All Star Award

The highest award given in your PowerBIUG community, the All Star Award recognizes PowerBIUG members who have a passion for Power BI and have made significant contributions of their time and expertise to the PowerBIUG community. All-Stars are nominated and voted on by the community and provide a lifetime All-Star designation to award recipients. The inaugural PowerBIUG All Star Award was announced at Data & BI Summit 2018 and recognized at the User Group volunteer award reception at Summit Phoenix.

PUG of the Year Award

The PUG of the Year award recognizes a successful local Power BI User Group and is based on the size of the PUG, meeting attendance, and the involvement of the PUG leaders to drive content, promotion and engagement. The inaugural PUG of the Year Award was announced at Data & BI Summit 2018 and recognized at the annual User Group volunteer award reception at Summit Phoenix.
