    The pre-day workshops, and Day 1 of the summit is complete. If you weren't there you can watch the opening keynote by James Philips, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft's Business Applications Group, on the Business Applications Summit web site: To see some of our UK members view:

    Below are some of Day 1 announcements:
    October 2019 release plans:
    Microsoft has changed how they speak about releases for the Business Application products. Previously they were known as the October 2018 Release, April 2018 Release, they will now be known as waves. Just like the releases that went before them, expect two waves per year. The other change in terminology is that the waves are described in "release plans" and not "release notes". These release plans will be living documents reflecting the current status of the plan.
    * Dynamics 365: 2019 release wave 2 plan
    Power Platform: 2019 release wave 2 plan
    CRM Audio Live: Not the MBAS - review of wave 2 release plan
    Note: The updates covered in these releases will not be delivered on a specific day or week or month, but will be roll out sometime between October 2019 and March 2020. In the plans you will see reference to Early Access availability, which indicates whether the feature will be available on 2nd August for you to try.

    Other announcements from Day 1 were:
